Is the business success that you are experiencing now ... what you want to see happening indefinitely? If not, then … with your agreement, we need to try different things.

For example, could we adapt some of the ideas from Jim Collins’s books “Built to Last” and “Good to Great”? In his books, Jim suggests that three circles have to converge in order to begin achievement of any personal or corporate significance.

First Circle = Passion: Each of us needs to get back in touch with why we decided to participate in this business. What are you passionate about? Did you join the team to “get” or to “give”? What makes your clock tick? If you won millions in the Lottery, what would you do for the rest of your life? What injustice is so aggravating that it makes you froth at the mouth? What work, or activity, is so meaningful that you feel a joy just to be able to do it? What floats your boat?

Second Circle = Ability: What education, skills, training, experience, or natural abilities do you have that would help you fulfill the First Circle?

Third Circle = Opportunity: How can you create income from the First and Second Circles? Can you describe a business concept, specific to you, that incorporates your passion and skills?
